We scheduled with McWilliams & Son for routine maintenance after they were recommended to us from people in our neighborhood. They were able to come out within a couple of weeks, which is great. They arrived on time on the scheduled day and were in and out in just over an hour. One day later (on a Friday evening), our upstairs AC quit working. I called them on Saturday morning and left 2 messages with their answering service (it was around 6am on the first call) and Aaron called me back and said he would be with us within an hour. He arrived an hour later as promised and made a thorough inspection of the units inside and out. He determined what the issue was and said he would need to order the part and come back, baring in mind that it is now over 80℉ upstairs. I did mention that we had only just had maintenance the day before and the AC was working perfectly fine before the technician did anything. I received a call from Aaron on Monday morning to tell us that he would arrive within 20 minutes with the new part to fix the issue at no expense to us! We are beyond grateful for the good will gesture from the owner and quick work by Aaron to fix our AC. Thank you so much, we really appreciate it and you will definitely get our business from now on.

I can not say enough , the ac went out on a Saturday on Labor Day weekend! I called a few places. Rob called me back he was courteous, helpful and showed up even earlier than expected. By noon we had a/c and at reasonable rate. He was amazing and I would recommend these guys without hesitation. Thank you!

Faulty Capacitor Under Warranty Rating: ★★★☆☆ I recently had a tech come to diagnose my AC unit. The technician's ability to swiftly identify the problem was commendable and worthy of praise. However, I cannot help but feel a bit disappointed with the billing process and the additional charge for warranty paperwork. The technician promptly diagnosed the issue, revealing a bad capacitor as the culprit. The good news was that the capacitor was covered under warranty, which meant I wouldn't have to bear the replacement cost. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm waned when I received the invoice, which included an unexpected $30 charge for warranty paperwork. Having dealt with various warranty claims in the past, I have never been required to pay a company for warranty paperwork. It has been a standard practice for companies to handle these administrative tasks without imposing additional fees on their customers. As such, this unexpected charge left me feeling somewhat dissatisfied with the overall experience. On a positive note, the technician's expertise in identifying the faulty capacitor efficiently was certainly impressive and saved me from incurring any direct repair costs. The problem was resolved promptly, and my AC unit is working. In conclusion, while I am grateful for the swift diagnosis and the fact that the capacitor replacement was covered under warranty, I am disappointed by the $30 warranty paperwork fee. It would have been a perfect experience had this additional charge been absent. Nevertheless, I hope that they considers revisiting their billing practices to ensure greater transparency and customer satisfaction in the future.

Air went out today. Used them before and they fixed our air when another comp. said we needed a new unit. Once again they responded quickly and Don was able to get us up and cooled off in no time. Thank you again Don! Will continue to recommend you to our friends!

Unethical and overpriced. We didn’t hesitate to call them as they came highly recommended. BIG MISTAKE! We were quoted $125/hr on the phone and confirmed it would be the same on the weekends however, the service was completed and we were advised we would be charged $150/hr as it was the weekend. The technician charged us for his drive time as well as the time he spent voluntarily "educating" us on the A/C unit. I was not told I would be paying him $150/hr for him to chat with us or for his drive to us. To top everything off, at no point during the initial appointment set up OR during his 1 hr visit (we were charged for 1.5 hrs) did anyone mention that we needed to pay cash or check to avoid a 4% credit card charge! Had we known, this $28 charge could have been avoided simply by driving to the bank prior to his arrival. Overall, the work was done and our a/c seems to be cooling but the exorbitant cost and unethical billing is enough to steer clear from them next time we have an A/C issue. I definitely would NOT recommend this company.
