What sets me apart is simple. I am always concerned with the finished product . Also I care greatly about how we get there. I take great care of your home as I work on it .The way I see it is "If I am not going to do it in ,or on my house? I am not going to do it in yours !" Other than is  that I have unique set of skills paired with experience in all types of electrical work .I have worked on some of the oldest electrical systems here in historic Boston ,and have learned to preserve a lot of existing systems such as knob and tube ,and BX armored cable with safety .

My experience has also been to work on major businesses and universities in the greater Boston areas .

Most of all I believe in the way I see you the customer, If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be writing this .I firmly hold that for me a lot of running this business is about showing my customers that they can trust me ,and rely on what I am providing as a service ,but also my wish to earn the trust to be the go to guy for electrical solutions

I am actually giving a 5-star review to an electrician I never used--and here is why. I recently purchased a portable air conditioner for my daughter at college in a Boston apartment. Unfortunately, the plug on the unit broke and I struggled to find anyone to take care of this problem. The appliance store I purchased it from along with the authorized repair center were less than helpful and I kept getting the run around. Meanwhile, temperatures in the city were rising and my daughter and her dog were entering a dangerous situation. I contacted James based on his great reviews. He was very honest with me on what could and could not be done with the unit, but he also recommended a portable unit that he has purchased for himself. He took a picture of the unit and sent some contact information. I did purchase the unit and my daughter (and her dog) are very happy. Here's the best part-James actually followed up with me a fews days after our initial call to see if everything worked out. Amazing!

I needed to have a new carbon monoxide / smoke detector installed ASAP. ( My old one was old and needed to be replaced) I called James at 8:30PM at night, expecting to make an appointment for the following day! Imagine my surprise when he said he was on the road and could stop by to install the detector! ( I live in South Boston ). WOW! He came, installation took a short time! He was professional, pleasant and had a great sense of humor! He explained everything about the detector and said if there were problems to call him again! Not only will I call him again, I recommend to everyone to use his services. He is GREAT!

I'm a first time home owner and had some lights short out a month after moving in. I called James and rather than send someone out immediately, he spent 10 minutes on the phone with me, having me turn off and on each breaker, and explaining how it worked with the test button. It turned out the problem was that the previous owners mislabeled the breaker and somehow labeled dining room to be the bedroom, so I was flipping the wrong breaker! Really appreciate the help and it was free of charge - would definitely call back if another problem arises.
